Rawmatroid Showcase 2011 (3rd anniversary)
Tonight Rawmatroid will host a Showcase in the city of A Coruña. Fanzine Club (C / Atocha Alta 40) and Ola Green Disco (C / Paseo de Ronda 57) are the clubs chosen to celebrate this 3rd anniversary.
The Rawmatroid night begins at noon when Fanzine Club opens its doors. Javier Alvedro will inaugurate the event with a visual that reflects on freedom, privacy and space, three concepts that at the present time gets their own new meaning.
Armed (aka Boris Balkan) will present his live where we could hear songs from his last LP, “Mi Cabeza Esta Llena de Fantasia” [rwclub011]), published last December in Rawmatroid. In his live, the melody will turn into noise and the conventional pattern will get the exact space in an emotional musical mix.
The groove and percussion characterized the music from A.G.M.! & Qüintrix duo. The sum of both is more than a 1+1 in their live: an interactive game controllers that will guarantee the dance for the end of the first part of this Rawmatroid night. Mahoney is the artist responsible for the visuals in Fanzine Club, he will offer his particular non-audio speech. Fanzine club will broadcast live over the internet this first part of the anniversary; we could follow it throug the stream channel http://www.fanzineproject.com/fanzine-tv.
The showcase will continue in Ola Green Disco. Starting at 3:30 we will enjoy the live from Erreome, presenting the tunes of his latest work “My Cycles” [rwclub012] in an interesting proposal where the subtlety and audacity, melody and rhythm equally fit.
Frances Lerouge will take the last relay, he will be responsible for closing the lineup of this Rawmatroid Showcase in A Coruña with a DJ set in which the emotion and sensitivity will be present and in which dance and narrative are not ingredients incompatible when making electronic music.
Parasit visual poetry will complement this second part of the Ola Green event: poetry, image and concept expressed from deep inside.
ERREOME’s “CICLOS”
The extreme sensitivity to the surface, the nostalgia and the hope mixed going through deep, house and trance reminiscences in this 12th EP by Erreome.
ARMED and his “FANTASIA”
The first LP of ARMED (also known as Boris Balkan) is an incredible exercise of imagination and sound programming. Mixed with his perception of the world, Armed has made 8 great tunes for the clubs and for your ears.
PSYCHOTIC, LIGHTING and POP MUSIC with BICONNECTION
Three tracks produced by Biconnection and a rmx by Kino Internacional make up this new reference as rwclub010: psychotic, lighting and pop music.

Pitwo would review the sound of old techno and house tracks mixed with more actual tunes. Music focused on the dance floor and covered with the colors coming out of the four floodlights installed for the event tonight and used by PerlssDj to dump the images that would close the event.
This was the showcase of Rawmatroid: a night full of good spirit and music made with conviction.

RAWMATROID SHOWCASE 2010 @ FANZINE CLUB
On the occasion of Rawmatroid Netlabel 2th anniversary celebration and the release of its conmemorative compilation “Rawmatroid Puzzle For Art’s Sake” on June 12 the Netlabel bring together some of the members of this VA album in 2 lives and 2 dj sets that they will also have the participation of 3 visual artists.
The chosen city for the presentation of this Rawmatroid Showcase 2010 will be A Coruña, and Fanzine Club (C / Atocha Alta 40), reference to the current Galician scene, will be the host club of the event in the early hours of Saturday to Sunday June 12.
Kebiin will be in charge of inaugurating the line-up with his live in which ambients, glitch and dub will be mixed to reinterpret tracks from his LP “Lonely Voyage To Nowhere LP” [rwclass003] and new tunes tyed by the musical personality that characterizes the artist, some of them future releases of the Netlabel as a second part of the album. The performance will be complemented with a visual set by Parasit: video and poetry rather emotional, told in minimalist key through touch control hardware.
Soon after will be Lefrenk‘s turn: house surgeon in all its subgenres and with a fine and exquisite taste when producing and making live performances. PerlssDj will be his playing partner, and will provide, with samples and effects, his acid and multidisciplinary visual perspective.
Frances Lerouge will take over to offer us his dj set: feeling, emotion and melody for a music done with the heart and without many complexes.
The end of the Rawmatroid night will be Pitwo’s responsibility, a guarantee of good atmosphere and dancing. His style feeds from the old deep and house school but without letting the new tech trends pass by: dj set for the feet and head.
Mahoney will bring the event to a close with his recital of images both personal and creative bringing us for sure a night filled with Rawmatroid spirit and for art’s sake.
Two years and ONE PUZZLE
Today, we celebrate the 2 years of Rawmatroid in a very special way: collecting a series of tracks that show the spirit that we want to transmit from this netlabel. We talk about music without hang-ups, independent, personal and creative that can be shared and enjoyed in the absence of prejudice. 18 tracks with 18 different perspectives, in which each of the artists that make up this VVAA shows their own personal understanding of electronic music.

REPORT RAWMATROID SHOWCASE 09 @ FANZINE
On July the 18th Rawmatroid presented a new showcase introducing new members and new references. The event took place at the galician club Fanzine a place where international producers/djs have passed such as Chymera, Todd Bodine, Ivan Smoka or Elmar Schubert, and others from national territory like Astroboyz, Suso Flores, Diego Villa, or the residents of the club Pablo Cubeiro and Roi.
For this night the netlabel (which alredy has 7 references in Club sublabel and 3 in its Class side in 1 year and 4 months of presence on the web) offered variety in the musical and visual line up. A live works as an opening for the celebration; the experimental sounds between dub techno and close to trance of Kebiin build up a riskier and unconventional live act. Personality and sound freedom with own signature.

The also galician Frances Lerouge took the relay with his dj set for the last 2 hours of the night. A first part starting playing with references Rawmatroid club and national productions, and which the melodies prevail (as in the rest of the set). The second part of the set, around 3:30, gradually gaining in strength to leave an emotional trance air as a remembrance of the showcase.

The visual complement was finally responsabililty of Parasit, due to last minute unforeseen prevented the incorporation of Mahoney. Two projectors were used as an artist’s imagination desktop and means the suitable added for an unforgetable meeting of quality and good atmosphere.
