Almost a year after “El Nino EP” Frances Lerouge presents in Rawmatroid his new work “Estar en Casa”, an EP made of feelings, memories and emotions transformed in melodies.
“Azules y Negro” is a track with a construction made with simple elements in which the begining breaks ended up linking with a mixture of personal notes, “a result of the best state of grace, of the lucidity caused in the meeting between two beings, a mixture of fantasy and reality, of what could have been and what was”.
“Estar en Casa” is inspired by “a mixture of feelings of peace and protection to be back at home and the sense of belonging to a family”. A Casa da Leiteira has been the catalyst for this second track of electro synths and marked drum set.
“Glisandos, Letras e Arranxos” is an extra included in the EP, “a symbol of identity and a geographic reference, a statement of principles and an amount of people“. The extra/rare track is a tune made it with no drums, formal metrics and consonant rhymes.
