Rawmatroid Showcase 2011 (3rd anniversary)

Tonight Rawmatroid will host a Showcase in the city of A Coruña. Fanzine Club (C / Atocha Alta 40) and Ola Green Disco (C / Paseo de Ronda 57) are the clubs chosen to celebrate this 3rd anniversary.

The Rawmatroid night begins at noon when Fanzine Club opens its doors. Javier Alvedro will inaugurate the event with a visual that reflects on freedom, privacy and space, three concepts that at the present time gets their own new meaning.

Armed (aka Boris Balkan) will present his live where we could hear songs from his last LP, “Mi Cabeza Esta Llena de Fantasia” [rwclub011]), published last December in Rawmatroid. In his live, the melody will turn into noise and the conventional pattern will get the exact space in an emotional musical mix.

The groove and percussion characterized the music from A.G.M.! & Qüintrix duo. The sum of both is more than a 1+1 in their live: an interactive game controllers that will guarantee the dance for the end of the first part of this Rawmatroid night. Mahoney is the artist responsible for the visuals in Fanzine Club, he will offer his particular non-audio speech. Fanzine club will broadcast live over the internet this first part of the anniversary; we could follow it throug the stream channel http://www.fanzineproject.com/fanzine-tv.

The showcase will continue in Ola Green Disco. Starting at 3:30 we will enjoy the live from Erreome, presenting the tunes of his latest work “My Cycles” [rwclub012] in an interesting proposal where the subtlety and audacity, melody and rhythm equally fit.

Frances Lerouge will take the last relay, he will be responsible for closing the lineup of this Rawmatroid Showcase in A Coruña with a DJ set in which the emotion and sensitivity will be present and in which dance and narrative are not ingredients incompatible when making electronic music.

Parasit visual poetry will complement this second part of the Ola Green event: poetry, image and concept expressed from deep inside.

ERREOME “Mis Ciclos” [rwclub012]

In this new Rawmatroid Club reference we want to present music from Vigo artist Erreome, in which the extreme sensitivity to the surface, the nostalgia and the hope are  mixed going through various styles such as deep, house or even trance reminiscences.

“City Start” is the track that explores the emotions with a deeper tone, in a startup that marks a kind of introductory environment to the film, is carried with elegance and finesse, and ends up creating a really dreamy and evocative atmosphere.

“Help” could be the musical halfway through in the form and content of this EP, evolving in rhythm and without leting go the depth characteristic of the previous track, it stimulate our imagination and transport us again very far.

The single-note melody wrapped with the pushing of “Catedral” synthesizer makes it an incredibly emotional track, a real melodic song which is the third and closing of the three original songs.

The reference includes as extras a Kebiin version of “Catedral“, in a more orchestral and subjective interpretation, and a “Help” remix by Ales Pardo (Subsotano), in which the producer also left his personal mark with his characteristics bass lines and synths.
